Dr. Baslam is the driving force behind GROWSMART’s overarching vision and strategic direction.

Dr. Baslam holds a Master’s in Biotechnology Engineering and a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences from Navarra University (Spain). His academic journey includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC, Institute of Agro-Biotechnology). Beyond his entrepreneurial endeavors, Dr. Baslam has also made significant contributions to academia as a Professor at Niigata University (Japan) and U. Cadi Ayyad (Morocco).
